This CD shows he could sing very well, and it's enjoyable. It's a cross between Jazz, Latin, Big Band and Traditional Pop. If you enjoy the episodes of "I Love Lucy" where he sings then you might enjoy this CD. Very Good Sound Quality!

EVERYONE loves DESI ARNAZ (the husband RICKY RICARDO of I LOVE LUCY fame). He was not only the husband of the legendary Lucille Ball but a great artist, actor, and musician in his own right. DESI was never happier than when he was playing his music and singing and his signature song BA BA LU is on the recording and it will bring back memories. DESI was / is so talented and gracious and charming and you feel all of that in this Music CD.
Maybe this will sound silly but I am looking forward to hearing him sing Ba Ba Loo live when I get to heaven and I will be the first to join his Conga line. When the performance is over I will invite him for coffe. What a great day that will be. ENJOY this wonderful Music CD.

I'd forgotten how much I loved Desi's Arnaz's music until I bought the first few season's of the "I Love Lucy" show. His music is so energetic and happy that it never grows old.
This CD has some of my favorites on it and it sounds great. Desi was a master of his music and when you listen to him you feel a connection to him that transcends time and space. Another reviewer said that they'd like to dance in his Conga line in Heaven - I'll be right there with you! |
