i bought this cd thinking i was picking up a compilation of house music, albeit "dirty dirty" house. i was expecting a cd filled with twisted, dark, heavy house, something like what one would hear on a steve lawler cd. i wasn't very familiar with junior sanchez, and maybe i should have known better. still, i don't believe anything on the package indicates that this is a cd of electro/synth based house, unless the word "dirty" conveys this. well, no matter, i love the cd anyway. i have been reluctant to jump on the electroclash/tech-core/re-styled-new-wave bandwagon, but this cd is seriously good. stompin' house tracks with enough eighties ghetto glam to keep a smile on your face. great vocals, great sounds.

Wow, what a great CD - go out and buy it. This is definately the "dirtiest" house CD ive ever listened too. When I say dirty...its just dirty sounding - hard to explain. Every song on the CD is enjoyable. The second half of the CD is particularily great. Two thumbs up!

The cd's graphics are pretty cheesy, but don't be put off, the music is creative and shows some intelligence. Tired of the retread house music, I was delighted to hear some of the stuff on this cd. This cd was cut all in one take. Look, it's not all great, there is some brilliance, and overall there is some really good depth, especially once it gets going. A la New Wave: think Devo, Talking Heads, New Order meets some great percussion. There is also some garage punk snazzed up. Don't ask why, but I was sometimes reminded of rinocerose. Got to be careful listening to some of these tracks in your car without a radar detector.
