What can i say except that this is Dolly at her best if you are looking for the songs that you can't find or if you got it on a tape then this thec cd that you need I mean just look at all of the songs that are on the cd. 1:Don't call it love 2: Save the last dance for me 3:Real Love with Kenny Rogers 4: We had it all 5:Tie our love in a double knot 6:Think about love 7:Potential new boyfriend 8: Do I ever cross your mind and of couse 9:Tennessee Homesick Blues if this is what you are looking for then by all means get it.

The Best of Dolly Parton-Volume 3" is probably one of the lesser-known albums Dolly has had out in her career. Many fans and even people from her ardent fan base have pretty much forgotten this little gem that was the third "best of" solo record she released in 1987 after she left RCA Records. The album didn't sell enough copies to chart on Billboard as there was no promotion for the LP by both RCA and Dolly as she had gone on to CBS Records.

Still, this CD features material from her mid-1980's period with songs from her "Great Pretender", "Real Love", "Rhinestone" and "Burlap and Satin" albums.

Hits here include "Real Love", her duet with Kenny Rogers, "Think About Love" and "Tennessee Homesick Blues". "Appalachian Memories" from "Burlap and Satin", although not a single, appears here and a remix version of her track, "We Had It All" from "The Great Pretender" makes an appearance.

Dolly's two other "best of" packages are her 1970 LP "The Best of Dolly Parton" (never released on compact disc) and 1975's shorter titled "Best of Dolly Parton" which arrived on CD in 1990 with new cover art, but is now out-of-print.
