My kids were so excited when we ordered The Best of Drake & Josh, but when we played them we noticed right away they were not full episodes. They cut small pieces of them out. Maybe not everyone will notice, but we did. We wanted full episodes. If we knew they were cut we would not have ordered them. I feel we were robbed.

I really enjoy this fun show. I was disappointed to learn that all the episodes from season 3 and 4 were not included. What's taking so long. I love all the shows in this set but wish it were full seasons.

The shows are great, but these disks will not play on all U.S. DVD players, especially if they have any recording capabilities. It doesn't work on our Sony DVD/VHS combo recorder. I'm guessing this has to do with people making illegal copies, but it would hardly be profitable to copy these shows to a VHS tape and then back again to a DVD. Think of the quality it would produce. The editoral review does mention (wish I'd noticed this before) that the disks will only work in "play-only" DVD machines. Hope this isn't a trend with DVDs.

Upon ordering Drake&Josh 3&4th Season, there is a link after the word Series. After pressing that link, there is a drop box with 20 episodes and the date the episode frist aired. The only reason I ordered the dvd is because our favorite episode is "Eric punches Drake." It is hillarious. Eric the nerd accidentally punches Drake and brags around the school about giving Drake a black eye. Eric on the other hand is a pacifist! That episode was listed among the 20 episodes. Since it was a 3 disc set and no commericals, the 18 episodes for the 3rd season and the 20 episodes for the 4th would fit the set. There were only 15 episodes total and "Eric" was not one of them. When I received the first dvd I called the help desk and walked the person through google explaining the list of series. He claimed he understood and could correct the problem. He told me the correct dvd would be sent out. I received a label to return the dvd. When I received the corrected dvd, it was the exact dvd that I had just sent back to Amazon. I search on Nickoloedon for that dvd. So. the link is misleading and I am very dissappointed.

(Note: I am reviewing this product based on the quality of the show over the second and third seasons, not the format of the DVD release. "Best Of" DVD releases are usually just marketing gimmicks to make some money before the show is released in a seasonal format, but this is all we have for now).

After the first two seasons of "Drake and Josh" established the show as a hit for the Nickelodeon television network, there was a major change in store when the third season premiered. To the astonishment of most of the show's loyal viewers, Josh Peck was skinny! I'm sure that those fans (and the show's producers as well) were worried that the weight loss would mess with the show's "Laurel and Hardy" vibe (fat guy vs. skinny guy), but in reality the opposite occurred: Josh Peck's physical transformation produced some of the most hilarious half hours of comedy ever put together.

From just watching a few episodes of this show, it quickly becomes clear that Josh Peck's character drives each episode. His pet peeves, idiosyncrasies, and overblown-reactions to pretty much everything around him provide the true hilarity of the show. The clueless Drake (Drake Bell) and scheming sister Megan (Miranda Cosgrove) are little more (despite being decent actors) than vehicles to get to another great "Josh reaction". Though this same formula had been in play for the previous two seasons, the "rotund-ness" of Josh prevented him from really putting all the pieces together. I don't know whether it was due to the fact that people didn't take him seriously (only thinking of him as "the fat kid") or because his round body couldn't emote the sort of expressions/gestures necessary, but once he slimmed down everything just clicked. Whereas early-season comedic sequences from Josh might produce a chuckle, those some sequences in the later two seasons will have you on the floor holding your side in laughter!

Thus, I would recommend all viewers of this sort of fare (note: If you also enjoy Wizards of Waverly Place on the Disney Channel then this show is probably for you) to skip the first two seasons of "Drake and Josh" and invest in seasons three and four, as that is when the true hilarity ensues.

Drake and Josh make me laugh and I'm the grandma....the entire 4 seasons plus the Christmas movie are watched over and over at our home. It can make you laugh before you begin your day grown-ups!
Too bad the show ended at the 4th season...

this 3-disc set has most of my favorite episodes of drake & josh on it, but i wish it had "megan's first kiss" and "eric punches drake." o well, it's still an awesome set & definitely a must-have for any drake & josh fan!

I enjoy havin some of the Drake and Josh episodes on dvd so i can remember what happend.For any fan that likes the show should buy them.

With the deal struck between Nickelodeon and Amazon, we finnaly have various titles being released that I thought we would never see. Thank you Amazon! Now if only you could strike the same deal with Buena Vista Home Entertainment and get titles like X-Men, Spiderman, MMPR, and Digimon in Region 1 boxsets. I would gladly pay my hard earned money for titles like that.

this is my son favorite dvd. he loves drake and josh. this came in right before christmas which was exactly what i needed at the time. he watched the whole dvd collection in one day.
