Very cute bears and bear clothing. There are three sizes of bears and clothing to knit for them. The patterns are written for knitting on straight needles. Many could be easily knit in the round to avoid all the seams. Also, the clothing patterns are written only for one size bear. You must adapt them yourself if for instance you want the ballerina costume for the large bear.
My daughters will be getting these bears under the Christmas tree this year.

Very clear instructions. I thought the bears were larger than they actually were, but I just used a larger needle which gave me a larger gauge and was very pleased with the outcome.

Love this book for the ideas and fun knitting.
There are a few mistakes in the book, so I would suggest a new knitter be careful.
The bears are darling. I have made 3 bears, given them to my granddaughters, and daughter in law,
and they are cute. It is fun to use the patterns and make clothes you like. I made the cheerleader in the
Kansas Chief's colors and it worked out well.

I simply can't wait to knit up my first bear! I'm making the first one for my niece. I've got time to make it since her bday is not until July. =) I will add more to my review once I make my first bear!!
