This book doesn't faithfully reproduce the music as played by the band. Instead, each song features a chord progression and the lead part simply "tracks" the song's vocals as if your desire was to replace the vocals with guitar (ala Muzak). A complete waste of money and time for any guitarist who is an Eagles fan.

This is complete garbage. I have seen better eagles tab on OLGA. Am E Em C D Dm = thats pretty much the entire book. I wasted my hard earned cash on it don't waste yours.

This book is a good beginners book with easy chords (no barres). Great for singing and strumming along to.

Look, I am sure this book is not perfect for those who are experts in guitar, but for me (a super new beginner) I thought it was awesome. I went from not knowing how to even play one note, to playing Eagles tunes that others can recognize in three weeks. I LOVE the super tabs, where there is a picture of where your fingers go on the guitar, its a little like guitar hero in that respect, and you cant possibly play the note wrong if you follow the super tabs.

I bought a ton of books to get me started, and this is my favorite one to work on, because it is understandable and easy. Thanks to this book I have beautiful guitar calluses built up (meaning it made me want to play more and more) and my family is glad that I took up playing.

I would suggest this book for a very new beginner, or someone who wants a relaxed, no-pressure book to enjoy!
