About the Author
CHARLES BROOKS, a former president of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists, has edited this series since its inception in 1972. Brooks served for 38 years as editorial cartoonist for the Birmingham News, where his work won numerous national awards.

I have almost all editions collected by Charles Brooks since 1990, and this is an excellent supplement. As before, the presentation is a diverse combination of the very best in editoral cartoons. This book presents a genuine self-examination of not only US politics but all aspects of life on Earth.

The 2000 edition is out, and it provides hilarious analogies of Kenneth Starr and Clinton, Y2K, and other major editorial issues of our times.
