I give this cookbook as gifts all the time. I've had it myself for years and I enjoy cooking from it. It is truly "New England" cooking and the recipes are fantastic!

In the series of Best of the Best, this is one of my favorites along with the Best of Oregon. I live in the midwest so I like recipes from the opposite coasts. It's a litle difficult to get some of the ingredients here but when I can, it's worth it.
