More than anything, I'm a whole earth lover, but that doesn't mean I like everything. I do give people the benefit of the doubt, and I'm happy with that.

I've written 19 contemporary romance novels and been a participant in 4 romance anthologies for Harlequin, Kensington, and BET and. I've had a really good time writing romances and have a mainstream romance, Solomon and Sheba, biblically-based and this century to be released in 2012., but I've indie published a multicultural thriller, "Dying On The Edge," on sale now on Amazon and all online bookstores. I will also be doing a triology of biblically-oriented mainstream romances that I will also indie-publish. Edge will be a series. Francine Craft is back with another tantalizing tale of murder, suspense, and betrayal. In THE BEST OF EVERYTHING we are introduced to widowed and single parent, Sherri Pinson, a beauty salon owner desperately trying to overcome obstacles from her past. Sherri finds out that Byron Tate, the one who turned his back on her husband when he needed him the most, has returned to town. She is successful in keeping her distance until Byron asks to spend time with her daughter, who just happens to be his goddaughter.

Byron, who also is suffering from the loss of his wife and their child, still has feelings for Sherri, his first love. He decides that he will not lose her a second time around. When Sherri's life and their newfound relationship are threatened, he concludes that he can no longer conceal the circumstances pertaining to her husband's death.

In the pages of this novel, Craft has taught us a very valuable lesson in life when something looks good, smells good and feels good, it's usually not always good for us. THE BEST OF EVERYTHING is a well written and highly engaging romance with a little suspense thrown in. More than once, I found myself on the edge of my seat anticipating what would happen next. I really enjoyed reading this novel as well as others written by this author.

"The Best of Everything", by Ms. Francine Craft really grabs your attention just like the title suggests. This book is still sending chills up and down my spine. One of the characters, Sherri Pinson, who is a widow with a small daughter, is still grieving her handsome husband of many years. Her daughter is precious, even the Alaskan Husky dog is right with it. Then there is Byron Tate, the former friend of Sherri and her husband, who returns to the area from his time spent abroad. Like Sherri, he's trying to get over the recent death of his beloved wife and daughter. We find out that he is the godfather of Sherri's daughter, and he wants to see her and renew his bond and friendship with both Sherri and her daughter. When Byron sees Sherri, it conjures up old feelings that he secretly had years ago for her. It's a no go for Sherrri, who hates him because in her mind she blames him for the death of her husband in a roundabout way. She didn't know that Bryon had fired her husband for painful and understandable reasons.

Believe you me; this book has a great plot with lots of romance, tension, and enough passion you can imagine. Sherri's sister, who planned to take Sherri's husband had he not been murdered, brags about it, and is herself murdered. I truly enjoyed this book, and hated to see it end. Hat's off to you again Ms. Craft for a book well done.

I realise that Francine Craft books have very similar plots , (this is the third book that I have read).

1. The characters find love second time around

2. Hero was always in love with heroine despite having married someone else

3. Hero or Heroine is either a divorcee or widower

4. Heroine's life is always in danger

5. One must have a murder victim in the story

Ok having the above as the standard FC book this story is quite a good one, I found the murder mystery more interesting than the romance, but the romance between the characters was lovely to see deveoping. This is a connecting story to the Steel series
