This review is from: Best from Fantasy and Science Fiction: 6th Series (Paperback)
This is all very fifties, in general. The exceptions being Poul Anderson, Davidson, and Charles L. Fontenay, as the stories worth looking at if you want something less dated. Plus a Conan spoof.

If you want a look back then, check this one out.
