At Last The Fast,
By
This review is from: The Best of the Fast: 1976-1984 (Audio CD)
This is one of the great bands from the 70's and Max's Kansas City where I saw this band many times at Max's and will never forget Micky Zones guitar playing and his trick with the pencils shooting them into the audience with his guitar strings. Very poppy like The Sparks and lots of high energy like The Who. These songs still sound great 30 years on. This band was way too ahead of thier time with Sparks like synth pop of Moontan. Other great songs are Love Me Like A Locomotive and Boys Will Be Boys. Why these guys were not massive like Blondie and The Ramones will always be a mystery.
