Format: Paperback
This is a fine compilation of writing about the wonderful pastime of fishing. There are so many different aspects to fishing and the pleasures to be derived from fishing, and this anthology offers skilled anglers and skilled authors who delve deep in the literary waters to pull up their slippery prey. Byron, Kipling, and de Maupassant are joined by many other contributors, some famed and some simply fine, to make this a varied feast. Different fish, different streams, rivers, lakes, and oceans, different fishermen--but always the excitement of the game, the lure of the outdoors, and the triumph of the catch (or the catching tales of the one that slipped away unscathed)--are offered here for your enjoyment. Highly recommended!
