I bought THE BEST OF THE BEST FROM FLORIDA many years ago for my first husband. We lived in Florida then and he was the true cook in the family. However, I found some wonderful things that I made for him which were loved by our family. The Carrot Cake recipe is the best ever made (or so I've been told time and time again--I don't actually like Carrot cake). There's a Sweet Potato Souffle recipe that I made for every Thanksgiving and if I didn't, I saw disapppointed faces. There's much more and things that you'll love making and love serving and love eating yourself. Y'all have fun with this great cookbook.
