Cute doll, with cute accessories. Theres a website with games and such connected with the BFC ink dolls that my daughter is amazed with she wants to create her own BFC club with her friends. What we read on the site about 'Calista' was all positive and my daughter said 'Calista' was just like her very excited about the doll. I also found the books that go with the dolls. Theres neat accessories. We have American Girl dolls and of course these to do compare, however AG dolls cost too much period. The price is a bit higher but its more of a gift type doll which your little girl would love to have. I was able to purchase mine for ten dollars less on sale, and as Christmas approaches and this being on one of the top toys of the season I do see many more sales to come on this BFC line of dolls and accessories.

got this right on time. its great. my daughter loves it. we could not find calista in stores anywhere around here.

My five year old received Calista as a Christmas gift, and she absolutely loves her! The doll is adorable. She really looks like a friend.

I gave this to my granddaughter for Christmas and she was thrilled with it. Her Mother had been trying to get it and could not find one. I ordered it and recieved it on time.

I really like these BFC dolls. I bought my daughter the Addison doll also, and compared with that doll Calista's hair became a big mess after only a few times of her styling it. Overall though she is very pretty with cute outfits and glasses. I got this at a great bargain on amazon for [...], so I bought 3 and handed 2 out as presents. Still at regular price I think these dolls are a little pricey for what they are.

The size and over all quality was nice and I was please for the price. The dolls clothes were trendy and my daughter absolutely love this type of dolls. They are not small like Barbie's and she feel it is acceptable size for girl her age that are 13 or older.

My daughter put this doll on her xmas list because of her glasses (just like her own glasses!) and her size. She came with an extra outfit and a very nice, lockable diary. Note:the outfit the doll was wearing was missing the legwarmers and scarf pictured on the box. (my daughter never noticed and loves her new doll!!) Definitely recommend for girls age 4-10.

I bought Calista for my nine year old daughter Christmas 2009. She is still sleeping with her every night-if that tells you anything. BFF, Inc. Calista doll is 18", so you can use all the same accessories and clothing for every national retailer's (i. e. target, walmart, toysrus, and ebay) variation of the American Girl Doll, so she can be played with for an extended amount of time if your child is into these types of dolls, with many affordable options.

It can be very difficult to find dolls of color nationally this size, so thank goodness Amazon carries her! My daughter wears glasses also, so she really likes that Calista does as well. Calista also comes with a book that promotes intelligence and confidence-who doesn't love that?!

The only con I can report is that her hair does indeed become brittle over time, but not unlike any other doll made in this day and time. If your daughter styles her dolls hair often, you may want to look for a product that helps with doll hair quality.
