I have not yet made any of the items in the book, because I just got it, however, I am excited to make some! The items are fun, but one could easily turn the craft into a learning art opportunity. There are plenty ideas to choose from, and to me, they seem exciting! There are things that you may - or may not have thought to make into a craft. Although the book is a few years old, the cover is still attractive and relative to what the "girly-girly" girls are looking for these days. This book could totally "hang" with those who may be American Girl fans. When I originally saw the cover, I actually thought it was an American Girl publication, and considering how it was still relatively current in style, I was shocked that it had been published 6 years ago. I think its a really fun book, especially for choosing crafts to make during a child's birthday party.
