4.0 out of 5 stars Fryer Recipies
This is a pretty good book. It gives you the basics on deep fryers (makes and models, safety, helpful hints, ect...) Lots of good and new recipies that I never knew you could do in a deep fryer. So now it doesn't just sit around until I do fries, I can now use it for other things too. There are recipies in here for apetizers, breads, meats, deserts, and much more. I...

3.0 out of 5 stars A good BASIC frying cookbook
This book does a good job of covering the basics of frying, but I confess I wanted more detailed knowledge of frying. I wanted to understand better the ramifications of using different oils, or different batters, and what temperatures were the best for specific use.
The recipes cover a broad range of different types of food, and look like simple, solid recipes. They...

They are certainly not too complex for any cook to undertake.
The discussion of the advantages of the different models of fryers is already dated, but offers some good pointers on what to look for.
If you have not done a lot of frying or do not own a deep fryer, this is a good basic investment. Otherwise, you may want something with more details.

GREAT RECEPIES IN THIS LITTLE BOOK. GENERALLY, I ONLY BUY COOKBOOKS THAT INCLUDE PHOTOS OF RECIPE PREPARED DISHES -- THIS BOOK HAS NONE

This is a fantastic book for anyone owning a deep fryer. Great recipies that are for every day use not just those fancy gourmet type foods that real people do not use. If you can only get one deep fryer cookbook this would be a great choice.

I am new to the frying seen. This book is great for those that are new to frying and like me just bought a deep fryer. The fried chicken recipes are great and I can not wait to try them. I just made the cake doughnuts on page 160 and they turned out PERFECT! The book is small (7 in x 6 in) and contains 214 pages. There are many great looking recipes and I will be making lots of them! The neighborhood kids just ran through my house and grabbed a do-nut and exclaimed how great they were. Anyway, I can tell I will treasure this little book. I do not eat fried food very often, but when I am in the mood, this book will come in handy.

Unfortunately, the look of the book was very dated. No good photos of the recipes. Not a book I would recommend to anyone else. There are much better and healthier recipes on the market today.
