This album deserves 5 stars and more. This is one of the greatest hits cds I have ever heard. This album contains every hit Confunkshun had made. It contains all of my favorite songs by them. Every single song on here is solid. Alot of these songs are so good and a lot of songs on here I heard for the first time when I bought this cd. I'm Juicy, California 1, Ms. Got the body, Let me put love on your mind a very beautiful love ballad I don't know why I never heard this song on the radio this is a beautiful love ballad. It contains some of my favorites "I'm leaving baby and hooked right into your love, Love's from the train. This album contains so many good songs. I didn't know that they had sung so many beautiful love songs. I love this whole album it is great and I would recommend anyone who likes Confunkshun check out some of Michael Cooper's solo work; Songs such as Shoop! Shoop! never stop giving good love, Prove my love to you, and dinner for two these are some nice solid songs by Michael. THIS IS A GREAT ALBUM IT IS A MUST-HAVE FOR ANY CONFUNKSHUN FAN!!!!!!

ConFunkShun is truly a talented band. Up-tempo funky dance tunes (FFUN, Shake and Dance with me), power ballads (Let me put love on your mind, Straight from the Heart), mellow tunes (BY Your Side, California 1). Everything you need. I recommend this CD! But it!

The first ever greatest hits package from one of the best and most underrated R&B groups ever. Hailing from Vallejo, California, the seven man band known as Con Funk Shun racked up an impressive run of R&B hits during the late 70's and early 80's, yet for some reason have not been accorded the kind of acclaim and record sales of their contemporaries like Earth Wind & Fire, or The Isley Brothers. Their biggest hits "Ffun", "Too Tight", and "Shake And Dance With Me" are included here, as well as great album cuts like "Love's Train" and "California 1". Creative differences and record company pressure to be more like their label mates Kool & The Gang, caused Con Funk Shun to split in the mid 80's, but fortunately a resurgence in popularity of their music has brought them back together. Currently commercials for the new Nicolas Cage/Angelina Jolie movie "Gone In Sixty Seconds" use the groups' 1979 jam "Chase Me". Blistering funk and beautiful ballads with their own unique touch is what makes Con Funk Shun great. I urge anyone who reads this to pick this package up. It will become an essential part of your life.

Okay, everyone if you do not have this CD in your collection, put your shoes on right now, get up and head to the store to get it. You are missing a royal enjoyment of music. It makes you dance, it makes you grab a hold of the one you love and it makes you want to just listen to it over and over again. This is one of those CD's that you will listen to years from now and still enjoy. Not one cut on this CD can you resist, each and every song grabs a hold of you. And if you are one who has a deep appreciation for music, this CD you have to get. I promise you that you won't be sorry.

A perfect shot: the CD contains funky rhythms mixed with perfect horn- and vocal-arrangements as well as soft ballads with a wonderful sound. For Con Funk Shun lovers, who don't want to buy the whole CD-collection, a perfect offer to get an outstanding mix of fine CFS-music.

I say BUY IT! I own this one and Con Funk Shun's greatest hits and they both are SLAMMIN! I suggest making your own CD's with these two and you will have the REAL greatest hit by CON FUN SHUN by you! The go from party to bedroom and I mean this is OFF THE HOOK!

There are some great hits by Con Funk Shun on this disc. I was a little disappointed that some of "my jams" weren't on it but all in all I can't put it down, it's still pretty good.

I am a REAL Confunkshun fan!! I think that this group has the real heartbeat of soul(rhythm and blues) music in that they provide the best in ballads and dance music. If a person could only have one CD, this wouldn't be a bad choice!

Hand's down. Con Funk Shun is on top of my list. All the song's are trump tight. The production, the arrangment, the style, the voices, the lyrics. All proper. I wish group's today got down like this. All the song are classic. It's a must for any funk, soul or old school fan out there. The way the band get's down is amazing. The quality of this work top notch. Straight lace from begining to end.

This collection is by far one of the greatest compilation of funk tracks ever. There is lieterally no one quite as smooth and sausy as ConFunkShun. They are the most underrated funk bands ever. If you know what's up, you know ConFunkShun!
