I purchased this CD for my own children after having seen Laz and San in concert at the Texas Music Educator's Association Conference in San Antonio Texas. (They perform there every year!) Until this year, I had taught music for 17 years, and have yet to see or hear another group which is any better than Gemini! As music teachers themselves, they know what kids love! But since two other music teachers before me have spoken, I'd like to emphasize the joy of this album from a parent's point of view.

MY KIDS LOVE IT! We have had the album for going on 2 years now, and every time we get in the car, my 5 year old still says: "Mommy, I want to hear the Pizza Song!" My 6 year old begged me to play the Grandma and Grandpa song (Pen Pals) for her grandparents who came to visit. It touched her and her grandmother so much that they have enjoyed writing e-mail notes to each other about their daily activities since. My favorite, as a former teacher, is "Pray for Snow". You just think it's for the kids: there is a surprise at the end for the teachers! And all four of us LOVE to sing along to the chorus of "The Rooster Song". This is truly our favorite album!

Ten years ago a friend in Ann Arbor sent me the Gemini Video and launched our household into loyal fandom. Now that my kids are older, this is still a favorite CD.

The singing is good, lyrics are fun (without being too cute) and the excellent musicianship and variety of instruments puts Gemini in a category above the usual watered-down childrens' faire. My only complaint- they chose to put a long spoken story about a chicken in the middle of the CD. The kids love hearing it over and over.. but I do not.

This is the best CD I have ever used with the young children I teach music to. They love the music - especially the Hello Song. Motions or sign language can easily be added to most of these songs. A lot of the songs have interesting subject matter like food or roosters and kids enjoy singing them. As an adult I love to put it on and sing along with it. I have only had the CD for seven months and it's already on the verge of kicking the bucket because I have listened to it so much. It is definitely one of those CD's I will buy again when it is unusable. I recommend this CD for everyone!

Every album by this duo is a masterpiece. They have also done solo albums and they are just as wonderful. Their skills as performers, composers and lyricists are truly thrilling. I am not easily impressed, since I am a professionally trained classical musician, but they leave me in awe! Your children will love this album -- be sure to get their other recordings too!

I am ordering this CD for my 3 Grandchildren! My 28 year old son was raised listening to Gemini and heard them in concert when he was a boy, as we live near Ann Arbor. Gemini is from Ann Arbor, Michigan too! My son resides in Virginia Beach now and I bet he will be surprised when he sees the CD. I am sure he will be singing along loudly, knowing every word, as he shares these songs of his childhood, with his own children!
