This two-disc set (or three-disc set, depending on which release version you find) of German Christmas music and poetry is fantastic! It includes a wide variety of styles: spoken poetry, children singing, folk-style instrumentals, church bells chiming, duets, small vocal ensembles and choral pieces. My wife and I felt like we were transported to Germany at Christmas for a concert! We listened to it for the first time on a hot August day, but were so captivated by the Christmas spirit we almost expected to see snow falling outside our windows. Beautiful, simply beautiful!
