Just saw Gino perform most of these songs with a new, young, outstanding band. As Gino ages, he only becomes better........more subtle in his presentation and arrangements. His voice continues to be one of the very best in all of pop music. The band opened with a jazz version of Crazy Life and finished its final two (of three) encores with I Just Wanna Stop and Brother,Brother. Critics have long recognized the complexity of Gino's work, and now with this resurgence of Vannelli magic, its time for us to go back and appreciate the depth and beauty captured so well on this CD.

I was introduced to Gino's music back in 75. I always thought he was a great songwriter as well as a singer. His greatest work would have to be "Crazy Life". After reviewing this on the internet, I'm going to pick up his greatest collection CD.

This cd is a gem. It 's a quick way to have all those songs that you love so much on one cd so that you can play them when you want. Gino is a genius. There has been nobody like him - ever. I went to buy a stereo once and the salesman played a Gino album so I could hear what the stereo could do. I was impressed and I asked him why he chose that album. He said that Gino's albums were some of the best engineered albums ever made and that when he used them, people always bought the stereo. And the album! (I bought the stereo, too!) Start with this one and then buy all the rest of his albums. You won't regret it!

I, too, was introduced to Gino in mid-70s. His intricate jazz & pop combinations are what drew me to his music. I have followed his career for the last 20+ years and finally saw him in concert. His voice in '99 was as clear as in his earlier albums. If you want an artist who is always intriguing, try Gino. His artistry will amaze you.

I love Gino Vannelli and he had 2 major U.S. hits - "I Just Wanna Stop" and the follow up monster hit THAT IS MISSING from this cd; "Livin Inside Myself". C'mon...
Well, thank god there are better more recent greatest hits cd's available now.

This is a truly outstanding CD with all the greatest hits of Gino Vannelli. He recorded so many songs it is hard to pick his greatest hits. All of Gino's are great. He has an amazing voice along with some of the most unique lyrics of all time. His music is like no other. If you want the very best, rock out with Gino.

I first saw Gino Vannelli back in the middle '80's on a TV concert. I was flipping the channels and had to go back. He was singing with a full orchestra, with all of that hair and he was mesmerizing. I got this "album" and have loved him ever since. I had a friend who described him as "EPIC". You may not appreciate his range if you are under 35, but he is very very good. If you love this CD, you should also hear some of his ballads, like "Black & Blue" and "Young Lover". He also can have a rock and roll sound on a song like "Stay With Me". He is phenomenal. I'd like to see him in person one day. Get this CD.

I've been a long time Gino fan since needing my "new fix for '76" when I was in my late teens. If you have a good collection of his music (I'm rebuilding mine on CD now) this is a good one to have. It's his commercial hits all in a neat package. I prefer the less commercial stuff, but this is very good to humm and try to sing along with. No one can match his voice, depth and range. I can one hand it into the single shot CD player in the dash of the mini-van a.k.a. Dad's Taxi after I get rid of the Barney or Thomas sing along song CD's. I'm taken back to tooling around in my old Nova with the long frocks, open shirts, tight pants and platform shoes with my old flame with the Farah Fawcett flip hairdoo. Yeah Baby!
