Tammy was born on the U.S. Mainland to a military family on the move and have spent time on the road absorbing the diverse cultures of Toas New Mexico, Okinawa Japan, Washington State, California and Colorado.
Just like many other people, she fell in love, had a child and then experienced divorce. She had decided to take a vacation with her own family to the island of Maui in order to re-think about her goals and the future of her daughter. When she arrived and stepped off the airplane, she immediately felt the magic of the island and knew deep in her heart that this was a place that she wanted to live.
Tammy considered what to do for a living, taking her current skills under consideration, she took up an interest in working with a local Videographer and started producing wedding videos. Soon after, she developed a special interest in weddings in which she realized that she had a true talent for planning and organizing. It became her passion to provide people with a quality of service on one of the most important days of their life. This led to the establishment of First Class Weddings, Inc. which, more than a decade later is Maui's most recognized and well repsected wedding coordinating business.
Meanwhile, she once again found love, married and has been a working mom living in Kula, Hawaii. She has become a significant contributor to the resident community in Maui, particularly through a non profit organization devoted to solving challenges facing young people and their families. She believes that giving back to the community in which she lives is extremely important.
Currently Tammy is a director/secretary on the board for Maui Youth and Family Services and is in her second year chairing their annual fundraiser event called "Growing Dreams".
Tammy is a dedicated volunteer that is passionate about giving to any orgaization that truly helps the community in which she lives. In the process she always tries to grow spiritually as well as professionally.
