"The Best Of The Hollies" contains ten tracks . . . the most memorable being "Just One Look" . . . "Look Through Any Window" . . . "Bus Stop" . . . "Stop, Stop, Stop" . . . "On A Carousel" . . . "Carrie Ann".

These are the "hits" that set The Hollies in our musical memories. In later years and in another incarnation The Hollies had more and other hits . . . but these on this collection represent "the Holly's sound" as i most remember them . . . and these songs bring back the memories i most associate with listening to "transistor radios" back in the day . . .

At the most reasonable price, this cd collection, though small at ten tracks, is more than worth the cost.

This is fine and all, but their best collection is the Greatest Hits (Epic). WIth King MIdas and a few others, it is so much better and the order of the songs is more interesting. This is good, but why not have the best (that you thought you were getting)

There may be more comprehensive collections for the type of listener who wants B-sides, alternate takes, and the like, but this compilation is quite satisfactory for me, a casual Hollies fan, since it covers all of the the Hollies' 1960s hits. More importantly, it also seems to be the only collection, comprehensive or otherwise, that includes my favorite Hollies song, "I Can't Let Go." Ten tracks may not seem like a lot, but the price is also on the low side, so it's not an egregious rip-off.
