I have this CD and play it my car all the time. It is Southern Gospel music at its best. Good variety, the quality is good and the songs are very uplifting. Highly recommend.

this album of the gaithers, has some really good gospel songs. i'm a christian (by the way) so most of my family listen to gospel music all the time and country. i was raised around gospel and country music. anyways back to the cd. i looveee the song 'the unclouded day', and 'sweet beulah land'. my 2 favorite songs, i also like canaanland is just in sight, the sweetest song i know, when i meet you, amazing grace, this just what heaven means to me. i love those songs and my 2 favorite songs on this CD! I don't have it, but its my grandmas, she has alot of the gaithers cd, and loves their music. I love'em too, one of my favorite gospel group singers. Well I reccomend you buy this CD! Its the best...

There are lots of great cuts on this title, but Cynthia Clawson's "It Won't Rain Always" defines it. I get a sense on that track, that something truly unexpected happened -- a few moments that really touched those present and that will touch you too -- I guarantee it.

I like the way the singer sung the song. She put more feelings in it.I felt what Heaven is like and it revived my longing for it.

A great indroduction to the Homecoming series. From Sweet Beulah Land a beautiful soothing hymn to Old Friends that makes you feel like one of the group and every song in between is very uplifting.
