5.0 out of 5 stars I STRONGLY Disagree With The Review Above, September 15, 2009
This review is from: Best I Ever Had [Explicit] (MP3 Download)
Drake is the new big thing in my opinion. Best I Ever Had is a different hip-hop/rap song alot of people(including me) are used to. Drake's voice is so different and he has an amazing talent. He is going to big. He doesn't rap about all the other things most other rappers talk about(money, sex, and drugs). Its time for a change in the hip-hop community. I'm not even a fan of hip-hop or rap and I love Drake, You should support this upcoming artist anyway I can.

2.0 out of 5 stars Worst I ever heard, August 15, 2009
By
This review is from: Best I Ever Had [Explicit] (MP3 Download)
"Best I ever had" is the breakout song of the latest flavor of the month rapper- Drake. This is sonic proof that today's pop stars lack staying power. "Best I ever had" is played endlessly on rap/R&B stations,it's probably a popular ring tone--but soon it will be quickly forgotten. The name "Drake" won't ring any bells with the next generation, nor will his ring tones be heard.

"Best I ever had" has the title as the endlessly repeated chorus. There's nothing original about the song, except for the weird part when he says he can make his girl's privates whistle like the "Andy Griffith theme song" (it's as absurd as the "do the Helen Keller, talk with your hips" in "Don't trust me") It's about sex WITHOUT being sexy. Soul without soul. Boyz II Men could sing about lovemaking and be passionate and smooth about it. Drake is whiny,as seductive as Kevin Federline busting out with "Popozao!"
