Another Jane Greenoff treasure! I have two other books by her as of this week and today I ordered "The Cross Stitcher's Bible, Project Book ." I am constantly delighted with the creativity of certain cross-stitchers and Jane is one of them. In this book she updates ideas from some of her earlier books and tells why. Then she gives wonderful and often unique patterns for everything from wildlife to seaside pictures, samplers, wedding gifts, her signature florals, and several beautiful alphabets. This is not a "country" or "cutsey" book. It is often simple cross stitch with some embellishment ideas but it is filled with color and wonderful designs. Her English Cottages are outstanding, her game board sampler unique. I think I will enjoy working many of these pieces over the years. Kudos to Jane once again!

Jane Greenoff has given us a wonderful resource for samplers and flower designs in this book. Some designs incorporate beads. She even gives directions for make an apron and pan holder among other things. Her design are interesting and the color graphs are clear and easy to follow. You can adapt the various elements and create your own unique projects and samplers. A very good buy.
