I work with lots of ex-offenders to prepare them for finding employment. Most think the only jobs they can get with a criminal record are jobs in construction and the related trades. Although this resource is heavy on construction and trade related jobs, it also offers some options ex-offenders may not have known they had including jobs in computers, hosptiality and sales. Along with job descriptions, it offers salary and training requirements and a job growth outlook. I recommend all of Ron Krannich's books for ex-offenders, but I think this is an especially useful resource if you want options other than hard labor.

Anyone stigmatized by the criminal justice system and seeking a more productive entry back into society needs to run to get this book!!!

we all have or know someone who can benefit! from this information...and also it's a lot of information in here that anyone! can use...they did a real good job putting this together. Get a copy....you be glad you did.

I purchased this for someone else. He has been reading the book and I'm told reading it constantly. I know he came to my home and created a profile on one of the resume sites and this is something that he had not been motivated to do before now. He sounded very encouraged that he would be able to get work soon.

It provides great motivation, and serves as a helpful reminder that there are OTHER JOBS besides just construction for the ex-offender.
