JOHN LEE HOOKER RECORDED SO MUCH GREAT MUSIC IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DECIDE EXACTLY WHICH SONGS SHOULD BE INCLUDED ON A "BEST OF" COMPILATION, BUT THIS IS A VERY GOOD CD, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME GLARING OMMISSIONS (FOR EXAMPLE, WHERE IS "ONE BOURBON, ONE SCOTCH, ONE BEER" , ONE OF HIS BIGGEST HITS, ON THIS "BEST OF" COLLECTION?). THAT'S OKAY, IT'S GOT A NICE MIX OF JOHN LEE DOING BOTH ELECTRIC AND ACOUSTIC SONGS, AND THE SOUND QUALITY IS GREAT. IF YOU LIKE JOHN LEE HOOKER, YOU WILL LIKE THIS CD
