I have many afghan books, both knit and crochet. This book is absolutely the best. I have made many of the afghans in this book. All the patterns are different, with clear instruction in type you can easily read. Most use sport or worsted weight yarn. As the previous reviewer stated, Caron Simply Soft yarn works up beautifully in these patterns and creates the softest afghan you can imagine.

I have this book and have knitted a couple of the baby afghans in the book for grand-nephews. They love them. Patterns are easy to follow. Using Caron yarn makes them very soft, cuddly, and washable.

I love this book. I'm learning to knit in order to make a baby blanket for my daughter who is expected in April. I am able to follow the steps in this book, and I love all of the beautiful designs I have to choose from!
