1.0 out of 5 stars What do you think about entering the titles of that CD?
I know a few songs of Lillo Thomas, and would love to buy a CD of this artist! Unfortunately - however - I cannot find the titles of the CD anywhere... that makes it a little hard to decide for the purchase, especially since I would like to ensure that the CD contains the songs I am looking for. What do you think about entering the titles? That would be very helpful!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars '80's Soul Crooner, February 8, 2002
By
This review is from: Best Of Lillo Thomas (Audio CD)
During the '80s, dynamic male vocalists such as Luther Vandross, Freddie Jackson, Glenn Jones, and Eugene Wilde, just to name a few, dominated R&B airwaves muchlike another soul crooner Lillo Thomas. The New York native bursted onto the music scene penning Melba Moore's classic "Mind Up Tonight." Thomas later went on to score memorable jams like "Your Love's Got a Hold On Me," "You're a Good Girl," "I'm in Love," and "Sexy Girl." This collection is not bad. However, it fails to include the former of the four as well as the extended mix of "Settle Down" and "Who Do You Think You Are," just to name a few. All in all, it's still a wise move to add it your collection if you're an avid fan.

When I here Lillo Thomas I start to reminess off his music, he make me more aware of the relation ship that i'm currently in. My favorite song is (GOOD GIRL) although I like all the songs that he (Lillo Thomas) writes.

5.0 out of 5 stars LILLO THOMAS HAD A GROOVE AND MELLOW MOOD!, August 29, 2003

I am so thankful that Amazon.com can get access to these hard-to-find artists! Lillo's music put me in so many positive moods I couln't name them all! I won a dance contest off of "you're a good girl", cause that was one of my favorites cuts! That CD would be put away in my special stack. There are quite a few excellent cuts that fans should go down memory lane about from the 80's. BUT LILLO DEFINITELY HAD IT GOING ON!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lillo Thomas and a hard luck story, September 8, 2001

Like other people who have reviewed this album, I too had a very warn cassette of the original Lillo bought in the 80s. A few years ago I was dating the girl next door and was heart broken when she called things off. A few weeks later, to my horror another man was calling on her. In a drunken state I decided to phone her, stereo at the ready to play "That Guy Could Have been Me". She answered her phone, I pressed the play button, and the tape chewed itself! - I'm glad now to replace those songs on CD!
She wasn't worth it!

This was a favorite of mine. I had the cassette and played it until it popped. My favorite song is Good Girl, however, I enjoyed the entire cd. If you like smooth R&B, try this one. Also try Kashif's The Definitive Collection. These two brothers have a nice sound going on. A cool way to remeber the mid-to-late 80's.
