I bought this along with the '10' calendar by the same author and yet again, found it to be a welcome addition to my desk. I make a point of getting 'A Little Joy A Little Oy' each year as a tradition and it has never failed to please. I enjoy taking a moment to relax and absorb the daily wisdom, humour, information, puzzle and so much more.
I have to disagree with a review that stated it was for older people who were already 'in the jew club'. I am not Jewish but I find this calendar to be enlightening, informative, entertaining and just plain fun! Personally, I was introduced to this author's style of writing by reading her 'Yiddishe Mamas'. This author has a gift for blending fact, wisdowm, and humour in such a way that it is a joy to read her work and this calendar is no exception.
