I normally buy Lego products, but they have a very limited selection of princess themed sets. We decided to take a chance on this set and it was a big mistake. The set was missing pieces and the pieces that it did have didn't stay snapped together. The mini-figures are grotesque and will probably give my daughter nightmares. The only highlight of the set is the three horses. I guess the moral of this review is to either stick with Lego brand for snap-together toys or just get your child something else.

I purchased this toy as a last minute Christmas gift. I was debating on Lego items, but came across the princess castle. I thought it was a homerun because it was appealing to a little girl (my daughter is 5) and it was very inexpensive. Unfortunately, we were disappointed once the box was opened and we began to put it together. The pieces are of a very lower quality than what you might be used to and a lot of them are warped. It probably took twice as long to put together because pieces kept popping off once you started to build on them. "Popping off" probably isn't the most accurate description. They actually went flying. We probably spent more time crawling on the floor looking for the pieces that got away.
My daughter still plays with it. She loves the horses, but as quality goes it is way below par. I guess I got what I paid for!

Huge disappointment. I too was looking for more girly brick sets and thought maybe this would be great for my 6 year old. After putting together the smaller sets, my husband and I have not even attempted this one. The pieces won't stay together, missing pieces, just a horrible mess. Just buy lego or don't buy anything at all.

do ur self a favor and buy the lego brand legos these blocks r soooo hard to push together the really hurt ur fingeers and when u do get them together they still come apart easily... Read more

A poor choice unless something big changes
This was a present for my niece who was said she wanted a LEGO princess castle. This certainly looks like it fit that billing. The problems started as soon as the box was opened. Read more

not worth it
