There are a lot of Lonnie Johnson compilation albums, but this one, from the Blues Forever label, may be the best value. 18 Songs that comprise his bigger recordings from the 30's and 40's. Sound quality about what you would expect. A good value introductory album to Lonnie Johnson, an underappreciated blues singer with an absolutely beautiful voice. Check out his 60's albums too (Idle Hours, Losing Game).
