Love is the inexhaustible subject of poets. Universal poetry has a plethora of masterpieces inspired by the small winged god who is invincible in battle . Spanish poetry has its place in these masterpieces starting in the Middle Ages till today. In this volume Pedro Lastra and Rigas Kappatos present the best of Spanish love poems written in the language of Garcilaso, Gongora and Quevedo.
