On this set, B sides, rare tracks, alternate versions, and album tracks are gathered. There's a number of Dylan covers as all the Springsteen covers were on Volume 1. One can easily about argue about the selections and ommissions (Where's "Be Not Too Hard", "Solar Fire" "Circle") as well as the versions chosen but there's still a whopping 80 minutes of very good music here. Fans of MMEB will surely enjoy this.

I purchased this cd for one particular song and that was the oustanding remake of shelter from the the storm! Manfred Mann has the alot great covers to their credit, but that Bob Dylan song was the soul reason I made this purchase because normally I don't buy best of's. The rest of the cd is enjoyable but won't comment on this pesentation!

this is a great second volume , larger than the first . as of the last review circles is on the first best of , solar fire is not, missing on this one also , as well as runner a #22 hit in the usa . oh well cant have it all. buy it , manfred is all good....later
