Overall I thought this book was really useful (particularly about negotiating the intricacies, both emotional and financial, of the bachelor party) with lots of funny anecdotes and amusing bits. The only criticism I'd have is the somewhat lecturing tone adopted at times, admonishing the best man over and over again to remember who are the most important people at a wedding but perhaps some best men do need to be reminded. Really nice book, we gave it as a Xmas present to our best man (so he has a couple of months to prepare).

I bought this book because my fiance was about to be the best man in a wedding. He was nervous because he had no idea what best men do. This book was all he needed. It tells what the best man's duties are to the groom, bride and everyone else. Tells about etiquette and even talks about what to do in specific religious or cultural weddings. What we found even more useful was it's section on speeches and toasts. We had bought a book especially for that, but it wasn't any good. This book explained the do's and don'ts and gave great examples that helped my fiance to write a great speech. (by the way, his speech went beautifully) He got a big laugh from the crowd and an Ahhh. Just what you want. This book is a must have for any groomsmen or Best man.

I am definitely glad I purchased this book. While I had a pretty good idea of what I was required to do as the Best Man, this book gave me a lot of helpful hints as well as some good ideas. A lot of people congratulated me on how well a job I did as the best man. This book helped a great deal in being prepared and ready for any possible scenario that may have come up. It is very easy to read and has a great sense of humor.

Having never been married or even been a part of a wedding party before, I was tapped to go to France and be the best man for one of my oldest friends (25 years). This with 3 weeks notice! The book was instrumental in allowing me to successfully perform my function with a minimum of stress. It was an easy read, it was humorous, and it was comprehensive. I could not have done without it. Thank you for the help Mr. Grace.

This book covers all the bases and is an entertaining read. It has everything that a best man should know and identifies typical pitfalls of the unprepared. Includes information about preparing the toast, and I received compliments during the reception from at least 5 people that said it was the best toast they had ever heard - then again, I was awesome before I bought this book so who knows!

Bought this for my boyfriend who was going to be a best man for the first time. He said he liked the book because it is short and to the point but still thorough and fun to read. I browsed through it and thought it had really great advice! Great buy, highly recommend it.

This book is pretty basic. I've read all (5) of the best man books out there, and the Best Man Bible, an e-book, was the best of the lot, and only $5. Do a search for it online and get it.

This book was helpful as this will be the first time for me being a Best man and I need as much information as possible.

this book is great for the groom and best man and should be read by all men involved in a wedding. Great insights. Just buy it for $5.
