This review is from: Best of Marvel Select: Green Goblin Action Figure (Toy)
This toy is a wonderful display item for classic Spider-Man fans. The Peter Parker accessory figurine is almost perfectly-detailed based on the original comic cover that this figure set is supposed to represent. Right down to the pseudo-flat-top haircut.

The Green Goblin, however, is a bit of a mixed bad.

The figure itself is a dramatic improvement over many other Green Goblin figures because he is modeled in such a way that he actually fits properly on his glider! The satchel being an independent accessory is also a nice feature, as it gives a more realistic look to the figure.

However, as much as the Peter figurine resembles the original comic cover, the Green Goblin figure does not. For one thing, he is lacking in several points of articulation, including his knees, elbows, and head (which does not rotate up or down). This makes it impossible for him to be posed in the exact position that is shown on the comic cover (with his elbow straight, and head turned to look directly at Peter). More importantly, the look of the Goblin and his glider are modeled after the Harry Osborn Goblin, instead of the Norman Osborn Goblin. The glider is wider and his face is more exaggerated. This figure does not contain the true "Batwing" glider that was used by Norman Osborn, and which is depicted on the cover of this issue of the comic with the Goblin's feet being strapped into the outter corner of the wing.

It's still a high-quality figure, but may disappoint more traditional fans for its inaccuracies.
