If you're thinking "why should I choose this Midnight Star collection over the others?", this CD won't disappoint you. I discovered 2 rewards from this album: "Wet My Whistle" and "Playmates". These 2 songs are actually longer versions that what's on their original album No Parking on the Dance Floor. It's strange how the liner notes don't even mention that these 2 songs are extended versions.
Even if you have all Midnight Star's albums, you still need to get this compilation for the "extended" versions.

decent cross selection of the group's earlier music,

Fairly decent selection of music. It's difficult to locate tracks like "I've Been Watching You" from early LP "Standing Together," one of group's better efforts.
