Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Making miniature quilts is increasingly popular for a number of reasons. For one, minis provide a creative outlet with just a small investment of time and materials. They also make attractive home accents and thoughtful gifts. And today's tools and construction methods make miniatures easier than ever to sew. This book brings together patterns for 18 all-time favorites from the pages of Miniature Quilts magazine and contains something for everyone. There are classics such as Dresden Plate, Churn Dash, Broken Star, Bow Tie and Log Cabin. Foundation piecing makes intricate designs like Storm at Sea easy to sew. Simple needleturn or fusible applique make adorable quilts like "Gingerbread Play" and "Birdhouses" doable for quilters of any skill level. The clear, illustrated patterns are the same ones readers of Miniature Quilts have relied on for years to ensure stitching success. When I saw the frontpage I already fall in love with the book. I could not stop reading it. I read it 10 times after each other. I wanted to start with my next quilt as soon as possible.
