Gene Pitney should be proud of them - the best version of Hello Mary Lou by far with a stunning display by Buddy Cage on pedal steel. If you come across their version of You Never Can Tell you'll hear how even a Chuck Berry original can be upstaged - it was obviously meant to be played in the Country Rock style that the New Riders conveyed better than any other group.
