Some Key Omissions, but a Great Single Disc Comp, February 11, 2005

There's no "Salt Peanuts" or "Hot House" here, but this CD does a nice job of summing up Dizzy's early years, and demonstrates how adaptable he was to almost any setting, be it bop, big band, latin jazz or ballads. This is also probably the best remastering you'll find of any of these tracks. Good stuff.
