Selected Recipes from Oklahoma's Favorite Cookbooks. When the editors titled this `the best of the best' they weren't kidding. They have taken some of the best recipes from other Oklahoma cookbooks and combined them. The result is this wonderful cookbook full of easy, delicious ideas! Although I enjoyed the Native American pictures and the drawings (they are beautiful to look at), I have to say my eyes had to first take in all the recipes, yum-yum. We have the usual contents from Appetizers to Desserts. The variety of recipes is wide; they are not focused on only what's considered Oklahoma cuisine. You will find a recipe for Clam Chowder right along with one for Rabbit Stir-Fry (haven't tried that one, I prefer petting them to eat them). I promise you it doesn't matter where you live, you will enjoy trying the best recipes in Oklahoma. Brenda @ MyShelf.com |
