I don't have this CD but I basically have all the tracks on it via numerous mixtapes. If you follow the mixtape game then this cat needs no introduction. He is easily the most prolific mixtape artist out, if not ever.

His skills are beyond doubt, he is a lyrical beast and he sounds like no other. He is not the next Nas or Rakim, he is not the next Canibus or Jay-Z. He is the 1st Papoose...a genius with his spit.

However he is not the perfect artist and his unsigned status is testament to that. His flow is so unique that not everyone can get into it. But if you can jump on, who'll be left with no doubt that this kid is the truth.

All the songs on here are hot & but you best believe his catalogue is a lot longer as the subject to the review suggests. The good news is that he has finally been signed (Flipmode Squad) and this landed him a spot on the remix to "Touch It".

A proper album should be on its way soon.

I dont have this exact mixtape but I have 4 of his other ones and almost every song on here. I first heard of Pap on G Rap's "Roots of Evil" from 1998 and I've loved him ever since. He give the true meaning to LYRICIST! and he writes some tight songs & perhaps the best freestyle I EVER heard. This one has 14 songs, 12 of them I've heard before, guests are on about half the songs, and of the 12 I heard, 2 are classics, 1 is almost a classic, 2 are ok, the rest are tight songs. I heard he signed a 1.5 million dollar deal and I can't wait for his major label debut to drop cause it'll be at least a 4.5 star album I know and don't forget to cop his other mixtapes at mixtapeone.com or allmixtapes.com!

Papoose is one of the best underground rapper in the game and he is one of my favorite rappers. He has great lyrics and those lyrics turn into classic mixtapes, great songs, and amazing freestyles. I compare Pap to Cassidy but I believe Papoose is just as good as Cassidy. Top 5 songs Sharades, Style Wars, Mother Nature, Body Bluffin, and Ridin Shotgun

If you haven't listened to Papoose yet, think of a new BigL...His lyrics are just as clever and his flow and voice just as unique. I actually think papoose is BigL's long lost son or something.

Finally a real lyricist to breathe some life back into hip hop. I can't wait for his album to drop. Although I already had a lotta the songs on this cd I still had to cop it just to support da man. This cat can spit like no other. He's like some kool g rap+big daddy kane+pac+nas all in one. Anyone who aint feelin Pap or is sleepin on him aint a true fan of hip hop. There is no denying this cats talent.

Papoose is a great rapper and I like that he did not need to start beefs with other rappers to get attention and just rapped. I am very excited about is solo project which is "Nacirema Dream" coming in 2007 and I know it will be kicka**. I recommend getting this to get a taste of what this guy can spit because he impressed me a lot. I like that James Brown sample he used for the first track and it happens to be one of my favorite tracks. Get this mixtape and hear what I think will be one of the great rappers to come out in awhile and that is real talk. WHAT?
