I have been hoping for a "Frampton Comes Alive" tab book for years and while this is not it, this book is still quite good. Included are "Frampton Comes Alive" transcriptions of Do You Feel Like We Do, Doobie Wah, I Wanna Go To The Sun, It's a Plain Shame, Show Me the Way, Penny For Your Thought's(open G), All I Wanna Be(is by your side) and Baby I Love Your Way. The studio version of Baby Something's Happenin' is here, I Cant Stand It No More, and even a couple from "Fingerprints"! For me, Frampton's Melodic, Rocking lead work on "Frampton Comes Alive" has always knocked me out and the transcriptions here are very good so get out your Les Paul and Marshall, hook up the Leslie and let it rip! When someone put's together the whole album in tab form I'll buy that too, but in the meantime this book is great!!

This is about all you will find on Peter Frampton if you are looking for music for guitar with tablature. It relies heavily on cuts from "Frampton Comes Alive" so that should make any die-hard happy. The ta seems pretty spot on. I would have loved to have had the song "Breaking All The Rules" included, but you can't have it all. Great book. If you want to play Pete's tunes and dig in to his amazingly lyrical guitar style this is the book for you.

There's not much good Frampton tab out there as far as I'm concerned, so if you're a fan this book is money well spent. It's not the "Frampton Comes Alive" stuff we all want, but close enough. Songs include All I Want to Be; Baby, I Love Your Way; Baby Somethin's Happenin'; Boot it Up; Do You Feel Like We Do; Doobie Wah; Grab a Chicken; I Can't Stand it No More; I Wanna Go to the Sun; It's a Plain Shame; Penny for Your Thoughts; Show Me the Way. This book will help you play in his Pentatonic/Dorian lyrical style. Buy it!
