4.0 out of 5 stars Plenty of Fine Music, November 14, 2009
This review is from: The Best Polish Songs... Ever! (Audio CD)
I bought this CD box during a short holiday to Poland with my wife. We noted that in both cafes and shops were played very good and catchy pop and rock music - by artists unknown to us and in most cases, sung in Polish.

One of the last day we went into a music shop to inquire if there was anything original Polish could be recommended. After a long talk with a very helpful sales clerk, we found that this box could be a start and that it very well might contain some of the music we had heard on the trip.

After listening through the set a couple of times I have to admit that it's a bit overwhelming. To relate to so many different artists in many different genres of singing in a language we understand, can faze you.

There are certainly plenty of fine music and the CD will probably also be brought forward now and then.

A few titles I particularly noticed is Baska by Wilki, Czerwone Korale by Brathanki and Jak rzecz by Kasia Kowalski
