Best of the Power Rangers: Songs from the TV Series

Power Rangers have hit a new level in awesome rock music. Everyone of these songs is something you can jam to. Even if you aren't a Power Ranger fan, this music still sounds great and is so much fun to listen to. I recommend everyone get this CD, especially for song #3... 'Best of the Best of the Best'. This is the most awesome song to rock to I have ever heard. It energizes you and makes you feel great!!

I bought this C.D. with the understanding that many of my favorites wouldn't be on it. However, I didn't know that the original and Turbo theme songs would be redone (for the worse.) Another negative review states that only three of the songs are from the series. I would assume that those songs are tracks 6, 7, & 8. 6 is from the Turbo Power Rangers Movie. 7 & 8 are from the Zeo series. If you're willing to buy the album for these three alone, go ahead. Otherwise, you're probably in for a disappointment.

There are many great songs for the power rangers.Where are they? I guess the producers have included what they like.I'm not saying the songs here are bad but there are other better songs that were ignored.However, i dont blame them; there is no way to include all of them in one CD.
Try to wait and hope for another better volume to be released.

I love the Power Rangers. I'm also 27. I started watching this show when it first premiered on Fox and thought it was extremely campy, but it grew on me and now I'm hooked!

One of the things I love is the music. This CD has some great songs on it; "Best of The Best of The Best" & "New Rangers To The Rescue" are great! "Power Rangers Turbo, Go!" and "Here Comes The Power Again" have the same titles as songs released on the Turbo soundtrack, but are completely new songs and are also great (another reviewer mentioned this as well.) But to be honest, I had hoped for more.

I really don't like the remixes at all, and "Go, Go Power Rangers" and the "Power Rangers Wild Force Theme" are both remixes. They're terrible! Why couldn't they have just given us the songs as we heard them on the TV show?

And I don't understand why, when there are still many more songs that were played on Power Rangers that they give us recycled songs from the Turbo soundtrack. The MMPR episode "The Wedding" part 1 had a song in it I've never heard since, and they played a great song during the final episodes of Turbo (it was also a music video on the special "Power Rangers Funniest Moments") that was AWESOME! Where's the themes for Power Rangers In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force & Ninja Storm?!?

AND, where is all the great background music? Come on Buena Vista & Disney, give us that great music composed by Shuki Levi & Kussa Machi! I'd love to hear the background music from Power Rangers In Space, the rousing music as the Lost Galaxy Rangers call for the Lights of Orion, the theme for Zordon & the Command Center, etc! It doesn't have to have lyrics to be good!

Still a CD well worth [it] but let's hope they release another CD with more new stuff and background music!!

(By the way, ..., Dinosaur Task Force Jyuranger came out in Japan in 1992!)

When I recieved this CD, I was immediately surprised. In addition to several old songs, there is a good mix of previously unreleased songs from the show and completely new ones. One oddity is "Here Comes the Power Again". While there is a Zeo song with this title, it's a completely new song unrelated to the former. The best song is "Best of the Best", also known as the Astro Delta Megazord finisher theme. Another gem is "I will Rescue You", which was on the show ONCE in season 1. Even the MMPR and Wild Force theme are remixes and "Power Rangers Turbo, Go" is yet another new song with an old name. I highly recommend this for any Power Rangers fan, if only in hopes that it will be the first of many new albums featuring more unreleased songs.

Finally, another Power Rangers CD. Sort of a best hits compilation, it combines the past hits from many of the past series from Turbo, to Zeo, to even Wild Force.

There are only two downsides to this album.

1) Most of these songs can be found on the Power Rangers Turbo Movie soundtrack.

2) No songs are from the original series, the original hits by Aaron Waters (aka The Mighty RAW). Even the first track is just a remix of the original theme.

Other than that, you get quite a few unreleased tracks that will no doubt make any Power Ranger fan happy.

This CD is both exciting and dissappointing. Why? Here's a breakdown:
Go Go Power Rangers - Gag me with a spoon, this is nothing like the orginal

Power Rangers Wild Force Theme - This sounds close to the orginal, though I haven't heard much of the themes between PRiS and PR:DT.

Best of the Best of the Best - Sounds like one of the fight songs, its okay

Power Rangers Turbo, Go! - ANOTHER joke like "Go Go Power Rangers"

I Will Rescue You - New, different, the first song on this CD that impressed me

Hope For the World, Power Rangers Zeo, and Go Gold Ranger - Can be found on the Power Rangers Turbo CD. Good because that soundtrack is hard to get anymore. Bad because I heard it all before.

Here Comes the Power Again - Poorly named, this is NOTHING like the song that was on the Turbo soundtrack. This should of been named "Here come the Rangers"

Enemies Beware, Invincible - Turbo Soundtrack again

New Rangers to the Rescue - A new one that is good to hear.

Calling for a Hero - Turbo again.

Give Me a Sign - New one that follows the theme of "I Will Rescue You"

Big Bang, Unite - And we end with more Turbo orginals.

Final Thoughts: If you don't have the Turbo Soundtrack, get this. If you're looking for the orginal PR songs, or have the Turbo soundtrack, or simply don't like the new music, save your money.

I am a huge fan of the Power Ranger and Im 20!!!! I have been waiting for a CD like this,but what do I get? three theme songs and a bunch of crapy artist I have never herd of!They should have put all the power rangers theme song on this cd. Thats what the public wants! Save your money and just down load the theme songs off napster.

Listen to this cd! It's the greatest ever. If you're a fan like me - you'll totally love it! More power to the Power Rangers & let the Power protect you!

As soon as I got this cd I listened to it right away and loved all the songs on the cd. I especially love the title song GO GO Power Rangers, I thought it had a really good beat and you can dance to it. I highly recommed this and other Power Ranger CDs.
