Not a book for the novice,

I love the idea of this sort of book, however, I can't begin to relate the frustration at trying to figure out just where the pubs and inns were located. There is no index at all. I bought it before my first visit to England, and I finally gave up using it because I couldn't understand just where each inn or pub was. Maybe the authors know just where everyplace is, and perhaps locals would use the book to go to a neighboring pub, but a novice like myself was lost.
