You will find "Best of Sail Magazine's Things that Work" a very good publication with 200 tips that were tested by sailboat owner over the years. They cover tips for maintenance, modifications, and techniques. The tips are nicely described and have excellent illustrations that are complimentary. I have used a number of these on my Catalina 27 and have been very please with the publication and refer to it periodically. If you have a sailboat and like to improve and make it more efficient then this publication is good for you.

I bought this hoping to find one or two tips that would more than pay for the cost of the book. It has done that. If you have an older sail boat, you should be able to find ideas in this book that will start your creative juices flowing to resolve issues in a simple and effective way. There are things in here for all boaters, but it works better for owners of older sailboats.

This was a gift for my husband and he loved it. Had much usefull information.
