Biography

Salt-N-Pepa were a New York hip-hop trio, consisting of Cheryl James (Salt), Sandra Denton (Pepa) and Deidra 'Dee Dee' Roper (DJ Spinderella). They have sold over 27 million albums and were the first all-women group to win the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance, for "None of Your Business".

What a great compilation of Salt-N-Pepa songs! I can remember when most of these hits came out....what fun memories! The beats are on point, and the raps are so smooth. I've downloaded these into my Ipod for my workouts. Makes that time on the treadmill go much faster when you have hit songs like "Push It" and "Shoop" motivating you!!!

ok i wrote this for the same item (why it appears twice in amazon i don't know) so heres a copy:

ok while this may not be the most complete collection of S-N-P
songs its still has some the biggest songs from what many people consider
the firt ladies of hip hop. if you wanna get into female hip-hop artists this is a good place to start.
