Although it is skewed toward their first two albums, "Best In Show" is an excellent career overview. It has all of the hits, and key album tracks.

World Party has one of the best catalogs out there, each release chock full of great 60's influenced songs. This is a good overview, but you will miss some outstanding tracks not included here. You will also miss the breadth and range of Karl Wallinger's influences and execution. If you are new to World Party, I would rather see you buy one of his great CD's Goodbye Jumbo, Bang, Egyptology, or Dumbing Up to get the fuller picture of this great great artist.

This disc entitled BEST IN SHOW is a great sampling of Karl's work. While it is hard to say this is a greatest hits package, because World Party has always been an artist's artist. Much Like Patti Smith is revered by many, so to is Karl.

If you do not know the music, it is simply excellent artistry. wonderful songs and this is a very good sampling. Don't think it substitutes for buying his other material, because to be honest, the each album is special and is a full album.

Artists like Karl are to be treasured, my real question is when can we get an all new album of material????
