This is some of the greatest music that I've ever heard. Between "Never Knew Love Like This Before" and "Sweet Sensation," this is pure get-in-your-car-and-ride-during-the-day-and-party-all-through-the-night-music. It picks you up, makes you feel good, makes you sing, and makes you dance. What more could you ask for? Being it that Stephanie Mills is one of the most underrated lady vocalists of all time, her music seems even better for this "underground" reason. She has pipes, and she uses them on this disc. The above songs are tight as well as the rest of the album. If you can dig this--check her out in the original cast recording of "The Wiz" (the play--not the movie)!

This is definitely a great soul album from one of the best female soul vocalists. I especially enjoyed listening to "Whatcha Gonna Do For Me", "Never Knew Love Like This Before", and "Top Of My List". The sound of the album will take you back to the late 70's and early 80's. A great compilation of wonderful soul songs!!

This album brought back alot of childhood memories.... My two favorite tracks are Sweet Sensation and Never knew love

I think this is one of the only albums a part from the other Stephanie Mills releases where can I truly say that I like every single song.

It features mostly her upbeat stuff from the 70's. I always blast this CD in my car, and I have people looking at me like I'm crazy. My family is sick and tired of me playing it over and over again. But, what can I say...I just loooooooove this lady. She's talented, and like some other observers have said, She puts her ALL into her music.

I hope she comes out with a solo album soon. I don't care if it's gospel or R&B; I just want to hear her voice. I can't wait to purchase the soundtrack from "Children of Eden" 'cause I've got to hear her dynamic voice!

she could put so much fire into any song she did.she is still bad.but ooh the songs back in the day two hearts w/teddy never knew love like this before,the funky put your body into it etc.. this lady needs to brought back big today she could teach alot of the so-called superstars of today how to sing.this woman is badd!
